Promo Mechanics

Promo Mechanics:

    1. Open to all who received the offer directly from GCash via SMS or in-app notification 
    2. Promo is valid until September 30, 2019
    3. If a qualified subscriber sends exactly P2 to a non-GCash subscriber, s/he will get a free GoSURF50 load voucher, EasySurf50 load voucher, or P50 regular depending on their SIM network.
    4. GCash will use the registration details of the recipient during the promo period to determine if user is qualified for the incentive.
    5. Customers can only get a prize up to ten times (10) during the promo. If there are not enough qualified participants to avail of the prizes, remaining prizes will be forfeited.
    6. Qualified users will receive a voucher in their GCash App within 3-5 working days from their transaction date.
    7. To redeem the load voucher, users must open their GCash App and click the burger icon on the upper left corner of the screen. Then they can open the Voucher Pocket to find and use their voucher.
    8. Vouchers can only be used by the GCash account holder and are non-transferrable.
    9. GCash reserves the right and has the authority to deny rewards for incorrect user data, fraudulent transactions, or promo abuse.
    10. Cannot be combined with other GCash promos. If user’s transaction is qualified for another promo, s/he will not be awarded for this promo.

    12. In case of dispute in respect to the GCash subscriber’s eligibility, voucher redemption, or other issues, GCash’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for the promo or for any redemption shall be resolved by GCash at its discretion.

Unfortunately, only users who have received the offer directly from GCash via SMS or in-app notification are qualified to join.

How will I know if I am eligible to send money via GCash?

If you are registered to GCash and your account is verified, then you can send money via GCash. You may find your status below your mobile no. when you click the hamburger menu (3 lines) on the upper left corner of the app.

How do I get verified?

You just need to download or update to the latest GCash App and click the Send Money. A message will appear telling you to get verified and you can follow the steps from there.

How soon can I send money after getting verified?

You will get a notification around 30 minutes after completing the verification process. After you receive the notification, you can already send money.

Can I send money to someone who doesn’t have GCash?

Yes! If they don’t have any account yet, let them know that registration and verification only takes a few minutes to complete. When you send the money to their number, they will still receive an SMS regarding the transaction even when they are not yet registered. Be sure to assist them in completing their account!

I already sent money this month, can I still join the promo?

Yes, you can still join the promo and get up to 10 Load vouchers when your friends register. But that shouldn’t stop you from telling everyone you know about GCash! Remember, the more people you know that use GCash, the better your cashless experience will be with them!

How will I know If I am one of the subscribers that will win the GoSurf50 voucher or equivalent?

You will receive the prize directly in your GCash App within 3-5 working days of your successful Send Money transaction. To view your available vouchers, simply go to the Voucher Pocket by clicking the hamburger icon on the top left corner of the app homepage.

How do I claim my prize?

To redeem the load voucher, open your GCash App and click the burger icon on the upper left corner of the screen. Then you can open the Voucher Pocket to find and use your voucher.

I made the send money transaction but the recipient did not receive an SMS, what should I do?

First, make sure that the money was debited from your account. If the transaction failed due to no internet connection or other similar issues, your wallet balance may still be the same.

If your wallet balance was deducted but the recipient did not receive any SMS, invite them to register to GCash anyway. Chances are that the money you sent is already in their account. If upon login, the amount was still not reflected in their account, please contact support@gcash.com for email or 2882 for SMS to help check on your transaction details.

I tried to send money but my GCash balance is not enough, how will I be able to participate?

Cash-in online by connecting your bank account or debit card and transferring money into your GCash account. You may also visit any GCash Partner Outlet to cash-in and get enough balance.
